Dr. Mohamed Abdul Majeed Qubaty ((アラビア語:الدكتور محمد عبدالمجيد قباطي)) FRCS, KNOC (born 5 January 1958) is a Yemeni surgeon and politician born in Aden. He is a well-known political figurehead, who is very famous for "practicing politics with a scalpel" as a consequence of being a really successful surgeon as well as a brilliant orator. He is currently the Advisor of the Yemeni Prime Minister and is also the Deputy Chairman of the Southern Civil Democratic Rally (MAGD-SCDR). He quit his position as head of the ruling party's foreign affairs committee on 23 May 2010. He had held previous political positions such as the Ambassador of Yemen to Lebanon and Cyprus between the years 2003 and 2007. ==Early life== In 1990 he married the daughter of General Mohamed Kaid Saif (Member of the Yemeni Revolutionary Command Council of 26 September 1962) and has three children.〔("Libya Military Action: Live Updates" ).
